Statement re: Michael Sheen

We are, frankly, gutted to announce that Michael Sheen will no longer be opening the festival at 6pm tomorrow Friday May 25th. Michael sent us a message earlier:
I am so sorry I cannot be with you at your event. For the first time in years I have to apologise for not being able to join you and other events I was attending this week, due to last minute unforeseeable changes to my schedule. I wish you well with the event and supporting you with future events.
We are doing everything we can to find a substitute, but we’d like to offer our apologies to anyone disappointed by this: we realise some people may have been coming to hear Michael speak. We are confident that Michael will be back to support the festival next year.
