Merthyr Rising Announces Exciting Lineup for 2018

We’re proud to announce the first stage of acts and headliners for Merthyr Rising Festival 2018.

A spokesperson for the festival said, “We have been working really hard trying to secure acts for 2018 that promises something for everyone. We have taken on board feedback from our customers and thought long and hard about planning a schedule of acts that fit the ethos of the festival and remains a platform for local talent. Already tickets are being bought from the North of Scotland to the South of England and we’re expecting the most attended and exciting festival to date”. 

So without further ado we are delighted to announce that the following acts performing at Merthyr Rising 2018

Roland Gift - Fine Young Cannibals (Saturday Headline) 
The Blockheads (Sunday)
Ruts DC (Saturday)
Captain Ska (Saturday)
Eva Lazarus (Sunday)
Beans On Toast (Sunday)
Afro Cluster (Friday)
Florence Black (Sunday)
Foreign Legion (Saturday)

Many more acts are still to be announced who will be performing over the course of the weekend along with speakers from across the world expected to attend The Waun Common Debates taking place at Redhouse and Theatr Soar.

Merthyr Rising 2018 will have two stages to take care of such a huge lineup and more details on scheduling will be posted over the coming weeks. With weekend passes at only £40, Merthyr Rising continues to bring amazing value to those looking for a fantastic festival experience.
